We, consumers, have been able to access our credit reports once a year for free with www.annualcreditreport.com/. This has been a great tool for monitoring fraud, credit worthiness, and so on. The problem: we still have to pay for our score, which costs around $8.00 per credit bureau. Now we can access our credit score for free through these two websites www.creditkarma.com/ (TransUnion) and www.creditsesame.com/ (Experian). They also have tools that could save you money on credit cards and loans, let you know what is hurting your score, and so much more. These are great websites that help you stay on the right track with your credit score and hopefully get better interest rates when you are ready. Just another tool for your financial tool box.
